In 2014 Mark began experiencing chronic back pain and found The EGOSCUE Method to treat his pain symptoms.  He was able to eliminate his lower back pain using posture therapy with the Egoscue program.  He came to realize his pain was a result of repetitive movement patterns, muscle imbalances, and compensations from previous injuries, as well as working at a computer for years. After beginning his career as a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist, he went on to get certified through the Egoscue Institute as a postural alignment specialist.  He is passionate about sharing the amazing benefits he achieved in correcting posture imbalances and eliminating pain. His experience of competing in 50K trail races and numerous marathons gives him an appreciation for what it takes to start and stick with a training program, overcome injuries, and stay mobile.  It is his passion to help others remain pain free and functional so they are able to achieve the goals they may set out to accomplish.

Lisa began her work 15 years ago as a personal trainer, but decided it was more important to pursue reducing muscular compensation and dysfunction before strengthening.  She educated herself in postural alignment, biomechanics, and corrective exercise then began working for the Egoscue Clinic of San Jose.  With the foundation of athletic training, postural therapy, corrective exercise, spinal decompression, biomechanics and energy medicine, Lisa opened Aligned Fitness.  She specializes in postural analysis and alignment for chronic pain symptoms. Exercises are prescribed to reduce pain, improve alignment and achieve optimal health and performance gains. She provides an emphasis on holistic wellness.  Lisa  has participated in trail races including successfully completing a 100 mile event injury free.  She credits this to the various methods she both embodies and teaches. Her goal is to help others engage in the activities they love safely and pain free. She completed a three year Medical QiGong certification at the Longevity Center and has studied and practiced many other modalities such as The Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, Touch for Health, Eden Energy Medicine, Matrix Energetics, and more.  She has experience in multiple areas of nutrition, mental/emotional health, and wellness.
